Ceramic Pulleys

These ceramic pulleys are commonly used competes in coil winding and textile machines, in instances where there are radical changes in the direction of a travelling material (e.g. copper wires).

The ceramic roller rings are made of fine ceramic (Alumina Al2O3), with a hardness of HRA88, and surface polished to an ultra-fine Ra0.2 finish. A high-speed precision bearing can be found within the ceramic roller ring, which keeps the sliding distance between the enamelled wire and roller below 0.15mm, to protect the wire coating and maintain stability of the wire tension.
