Wire Guides

Ceramic wire guides are normally used in guiding the wire direction in coil winding machines. Factors such as material hardness, smoothness and contact radius are important in reducing the friction co-efficiency.

Our fine ceramic wire guiding products are made of 99% Alumina Al2O3, with a material of HRA88 hardness and surfaces polished to an Ra0.4 finish.

We can also polish the ceramic guides according to the user requirement: e.g. an ultra-fine polish (Ra.0.2) or semi-polish (Ra.0.8). Custom-made guides according to your specifications and sizes are also available.
